Synopsis

In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a trio of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion.

Available roles:

Susan Hendrix (20s - 30s)– a blind Greenwich Village housewife who becomes the target of three con-men searching for the heroin hidden in a doll, which her husband Sam unwittingly transported from Canada as a favor to a woman who has since been murdered.

Harry Roat Jr. (30s - 40s) – Leader of a trio of criminals set on doing whatever it takes to recover the doll filled with heroin and become rich.

Mike Talman (30s - 40s) – One of the three cohorts, Mike poses as an old friend of Sam Hendrix to gain Susy’s trust.

Sgt. Carlino (30s - 40s) – The last of the three criminals, he poses as an NYPD officer as part of the plot to recover the doll.

Sam Hendrix (30s) – Susy’s husband

Gloria (12-14) – Susy’s next-door neighbor who steals the doll in question but later returns it to Susy.
