Relaxed Performances are designed to create a welcoming performing arts experience that is intended for patrons who have social, cognitive and physical challenges that create sensory sensitivities.
To prepare for their visits, patrons and families attending a Relaxed performance will, upon request, have access to additional resource materials: social stories, story synopsis, and a site map. Please email access@civictheatre.org to request resource materials.
Civic Theatre's Relaxed Performances Offer The Following:
- Patrons are free to talk and leave their seats during the performance
- Designated quiet areas within the theater building are provided
- Civic Theatre staff trained to be inviting and accommodating to patrons' needs.
