American Sign Language-Interpreted Performances

ASL interpreters are located near the stage for patrons who are deaf or hearing-impaired. They are seated in an area of the theater that gives the best sight lines to follow the interpretation and the action on stage. One or two signed performances will be offered for each regular season production at Civic Theatre. See below for our ASL-Interpreted performance dates.*

Assisted Listening

Assistive Listening Devices: The Tarkington and Studio Theatre are equipped with FM frequency assistive listening devices. In addition, neck loops are available that are compatible with t-coil hearing aids. Devices are available at the Box Office or from any usher.  Assistive listening devices are offered free of charge, on a first-come first-served basis.
