Dear Patrons,
You may have recently seen releases or advertisements for our holiday season that included in-person audiences. Unfortunately, recent changes in safety guidelines from the State of Indiana and the Hamilton County Health Department have negatively impacted our ability to offer you in-person experiences. As of this writing we are limited to 50 persons in the facility including cast, crew and other necessary personnel. This means that we will only be able to offer you virtual experiences this holiday season. We know this is disappointing, but we are committed to your safe return when it is possible, and we hope you will continue to support Civic in the meantime.
As noted earlier, a live production of ELF THE MUSICAL is not possible, but we will be offering the 2019 production videotaped last December as a streaming and on-demand experience. Once you have purchased your access to ELF you will be provided with your own unique code to access either the scheduled stream or the on-demand experience. We will be sending out more information and instructions later this month so look for future emails regarding ELF.
In addition, on December 12th, we will present a live virtual performance of our holiday variety show – HOLIDAY LIGHTS- a celebration of the season! HOLIDAY LIGHTS will feature many of your favorite performers bringing holiday cheer to you and yours through song and dance. You will be able to purchase a link for either the live-stream on December 12th at 7:00pm or, alternately, you can get a link for an on-demand version that will be available from December 13, 2020 until January 1, 2021 so you can enjoy this performance at home, on your schedule. These links will be provided through your account at The Center for the Performing Arts as soon as we can make them available.
It is our hope that, in the end, you will be more than satisfied with these options we are creating to make your holiday season with Civic a memorable one. As I mentioned earlier, your continued support can make the difference in Civic’s survival to the other side of this difficult time.
