YAP 2023 SEASON INFORMATION
The Young Artists Program (YAP) at Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre is a pre-professional training program for high school age students looking to gain experience in acting, dancing, and singing. Students involved in YAP develop an understanding of a variety of artistic skill sets with industry professionals in a state-of-the art facility. YAP offers year-round workshops with professional artists to improve technical skills. The summer program offers TWO PERFORMING opportunities for high school students. For our 2023 season, YAP will produce a production of MEAN GIRLS: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION on the Knebel Stage in the Tarkington theatre. The second opportunity is REVUE! Our popular cabaret style show has become a community favorite. Students will share stories and songs, and the performance is cowritten by our fantastic production team and the cast themselves!
Auditions are open to incoming high school freshman through graduating seniors.
