Important Casting Note - Age Requirement & Conflicts
While the stage ages for Matilda begin at 7 years old, it is important to note that the performance demands of the production (both vocal and physical) require an older performer that can play a younger age.
Rehearsals are slated to begin on or about February 27th. Our typical rehearsal schedule is is Sunday, 6pm - 9:30pm and Monday through Thursday 7pm - 9:30pm. The actual schedule will be determined by who is cast and any potential conflicts. All actors are not called for all rehearsals. BUT, this is show with substantial demands on all performers including the children. We would expect that those who are cast will be called 3-5 days a week. We can accommodate some conflicts but regular weekly conflicts are unlikely to be compatiable with the schedule. Any conflicts beyond April 21, 2022 would disqualify casting. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any other questions.
