Audience Sing-A-Long – Friday, Jan. 1 at 7pm Civic patrons are once again invited to come dressed up as their favorite Oz characters and sing along with the show during the one night only “Audience Sing-A-Long” performance on Friday, January 1. This event was hugely popular last year, featuring a spirited live host/master of ceremonies and costume competition complete with fabulous prizes. The fun begins at 6:30pm with a pre-show warm-up during which the host will lead participants through vocal exercises and prepare them for the various special moments throughout the show. Participants will receive song booklets and fun-filled goodie bags with special props for the “strategic moments” in the performance. During intermission, costumed audience members will be able to strut their stuff on stage for the costume contest.
