This delightful children’s tale follows the misadventures of Jack, a lad with his head in the clouds and his nose in a book of fairy tales. When he trades the family cow for magic beans that erupt into a gigantic beanstalk, Jack becomes the star in his very own storybook escapade. If he can find the treasure, save his family, and reclaim the cow, his tale might just end happily ever after. This kids-only production is a highlight of the Jr. Civic season. Open to ages 6-14, this fully-staged musical attracts children from throughout the metro area and affords them the opportunity to participate in a professionally staffed, technically supported mainstage experience.
