This thoroughly delightful musical romp through the roaring twenties, based on the 1967 movie of the same name, tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, a girl with big dreams from a little town. When spirited Millie steps off the bus in 1922 New York City, she shortens her skirts, bobs her hair and begins her quest for a rich husband. Things go awry, however, when Millie's wealthy boss falls for someone else and Millie is torn between money and romance when she falls for a man who, she thinks, doesn't have a dime to his name. Featuring frisky flappers and splashy sets, the show's jazzy score includes such bright numbers as "Not For The Life Of Me", "Forget About The Boy", "Gimme, Gimme", and the title song.
