Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's ever-popular musical re-telling of the Biblical trials and triumphs of Jacob's favorite son and his splendid robe of colors is presented entirely in song in a brilliant mix of musical genres, wit and high-tech style. According to the Book of Genesis, Joseph is so favored by his doting father that his jealous brothers plot against him, selling him into Egyptian slavery. But Joseph is blessed with prophetic dreams which impresses the Elvis-type ruler of Egypt, and when his prophesies save the country from famine, Joseph is well on his way to becoming the Pharaoh's right-hand man. In the end, he forgives his brothers and the sons of Israel are reunited. Featuring a large kids' chorus and a mega-mix finale, this show's the perfect holiday treat!
