Girl Scout Workshops

Explore the world of theatre! A distinctive program and a distinctive bargain! Brownies and Junior Girl Scout can earn badges* and Try-Its by participating in our workshops designed to give a brief overview of how theatre is created along with a brief history of Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre. Taught by experienced instructors, areas covered include storytelling, theatre terminology, stage make-up, improvisation and basic performance technique. Troop leaders and family members are invited to observe the final presentation at the end of the 3-hour session. Sign your group up early! This is a popular program and class size is limited to 40.

In the event of inclement weather, workshops will be rescheduled for the afternoon on either Sat, Apr 28 or Sat, May 12, 2012.
