Musical Theatre Dance Styles – $175 for 10 weeks, Limit of 20 Students

Learn the cakewalk, the soft-shoe, the finale from A Chorus Line. This upper level class focuses on the traditional and basic dance steps being used on Broadway and beyond. Having these basic steps in one’s repertoire will help with auditioning and rehearsing and they’re great fun to learn and perform.

Tap I – $150 for 10 weeks, Limit of 15 Students
Instructor: Holly Stults
Have you ever wondered how a tap dancer can make all that noise with just two feet? Well, wonder no more. This class teaches the very basics of ‘hoofing’. Learn how to flap, stomp and shuffle off to Buffalo with ease! Tap shoes are required to take this course. Please contact us to find out where you can purchase appropriate footwear.

Tap II – $150 for 10 weeks, Limit of 20 Students

Do you feel ready to tackle a full-out tap combination? Have you mastered the basics and started to add your own personal flair to the technique? With more emphasis on putting together combinations and giving students a chance to really flex their ankles, this class will challenge the experienced tapper with a fast paced learning curve. Jazz I – $175 for 10 weeks, Limit of 20 Students
Instructor: Ed Godby-Schwab
Learn the basics of jazz dance and get your body in shape! This class will focus on the techniques employed by Luigi, Bob Fosse and other pioneers of the dance world, to help students understand how they move in space while perfecting their dance vocabulary and overall skill level. Jazz II – $175 for 10 weeks (or $20 pay as you go), Limit of 20 Students

Building on skills already learned, this class will challenge the experienced dancer with new combinations and exercises designed to strengthen the body and expand the scope of your individual repertoire. Ballet I – $150 for 10 weeks, Limit of 10 Students

Get down to the basics with this class devoted to developing technique that is the foundation for all western styles of dance. Students will gain knowledge of terminology, basic floor and barre work and a keener sense of the body and how it moves through space. SPRING: Thursdays (3/22 – 5/24), 6.00-7.00


Ballet II – $150 for 10 weeks, Limit of 10 Students

This more advanced class will continue building on existing skills and will focus on extended combinations and intensive technique development. Students should have had Ballet I or other comparable experience before enrolling in this class. Appropriate dance attire and footwear is required.
