Individual Vocal Coaching/Training
For the amateur or professional vocalist who wants to improve their technique and stamina while building a well-rounded portfolio, Civic Theatre will continue to offer professional vocal coaching & training opportunities that will develop confidence and help students improve their auditions and performances.

The Singing Actor/Cabaret Performance
$175 for 10 weeks, Limit of 8 Students
Instructors: Brent Marty & Shannon Forsell

Always searching for just the right way to present your favorite song?  This class will spend time helping students choose the best song and the best possible performance technique.  Build your repertoire and have a great time sharing material with the rest of the class!  The final class will serve as a performance showcase for family and friends at The Cabaret at the Columbia Club!

SPRING: Tuesdays (4/23 – 6/25), 7:00-8:30 p.m.


ADDITIONAL CLASSES

Special Seminar – Fees and class size vary according to workshop
Special seminars will be offered at various times throughout the year. Utilizing a master-class format and instructed by specialists, these intensive sessions will provide opportunities to study very specific areas of theatre performance. Some titles may include: stage combat, voice & movement technique for the stage, fencing and stage make-up.

Email – Send an email to Holly Stults, Associate Director of Education at education@civictheatre.org to pre-register via email. Holly or other Civic staff will contact you to complete enrollment by phone. Please DO NOT send credit card information via email.

ENROLLMENT DATES
Registration for all sessions is available year-round.

REFUND POLICY
All refund requests must be made two weeks prior to the first class. Cancellations up to two weeks prior to the start of the workshop will be refunded 50%. No refunds will be made after this time. If Civic Theatre cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class will be refunded. Participants will not receive refunds or prorated fees for partially attended classes.

Play Pass
Take a class, enjoy a play!
All students enrolling in any Civic class will receive one PLAY PASS that can be exchanged for one ticket to any Civic Theatre Mainstage show. Passes will be distributed on the final day of class and are eligible for use immediately. Simply call the Box Office to reserve your ticket(s) and mention that you have a PLAY PASS. Then bring your pass with you to the theatre and exchange it at the Box Office for your reserved ticket. Students MUST reserve their ticket in advance by calling the Center for the Performing Arts Box Office at 317-843-3800. Any questions regarding Play Pass redemption can be directed to tickets@civictheatre.org.
