OUR MISSION: To foster a love of theatre through imagination, education, and participation.
At Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, we believe that by fostering appreciation and providing continuous training opportunities to the public, we are fulfilling an important part of our mission while serving to enrich the artistic community-at-large. With that in mind, we are pleased to offer theatre workshops for adults. Our broad range of class offerings are instructed by local, professional artists and will challenge students to expand their artistic horizons while improving existing skills or learning new ones.
Unless otherwise noted, all classes will be held at BOOTH TARKINGTON CIVIC THEATRE – 3 Center Green, Carmel, Indiana, 46032.

Schedule
The Studio Series runs on a 10-week seasonal schedule with programming offered year-round. Please refer to the individual schedules below to find the dates and times for the class or classes in which you are interested. (Please note that some classes may have to adjust schedules due to holidays or other events. The instructor will make these adjustments with each class individually.) We encourage early enrollment, as class size is limited.
Payment
Fees for classes vary depending on the length and level of the class. Payment must be made at the time of enrollment in order to secure a space in the class. Some classes may be attended and paid for on a per class basis. A star next to the class title denotes these classes.

Auditing a class
A prospective student may audit any class one time for a $10 fee. As a courtesy to our staff, please notify us when you intend to attend so the instructor may be notified ahead of time.

Special Offers!
We are pleased to offer three special offers for students in the Studio Series!
1. More Bang for Your Buck! 1) Any student enrolling in more than one Studio Series class in any one session will receive a 20% discount on the total cost of enrollment. 2) Any current student enrolling in any class in the subsequent session will receive a 10% discount on that class.
2. Playing Your Part! Any volunteer actor or technician participating in a 2011-2012 Mainstage production will receive a 10% discount on any 2011-2012 Tarkington Studio Series class.
3. Play Pass! All Tarkington Studio Series students will receive one free ticket to the 2011-2012 Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre Mainstage production of their choice. This offer does not apply to our holiday production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka and tickets are restricted to Thursday evening or Saturday/Sunday matinee performances. Students must contact our Ticket Concierge at (317) 923-4597 to reserve their individual seats.
