Join Alice's madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Based on the 1951 Disney film "Alice in Wonderland" and the Lewis Carroll novels "The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass", the musical adaptation of this popular tale is filled with dozens of wonderfully wacky characters and features such classic Disney songs as "I'm Late," "The Un-birthday Song" and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah." Jr. Civic's full-scale musical production, for kids by kids, promises to be great fun for all ages. Previous productions include last year's highly successful Charlotte's Web in addition to Twelve Dancing Princesses, Rumpelstiltskin and the American premiere of The Curious Quest for the Sandman's Sand. The show is directed and choreographed by Brent E. Marty, the Theatre's Director of Music and Education.
