Moving up, branching out!
This class is designed to build on previous acting experience and introduces students to the DramaWorks program. Students review and strengthen basic skills and learn how to explore and analyze the content of a script, ultimately understanding how to rehearse and present scenes and monologues. Through structured exercises in adaptation and performance of dramatic literature, students examine point-of-view to discover how plays come to life. This class meets for an hour and a half, once a week for 8 weeks or for 3 hours on Saturday for 4 weeks during our Winter Intensive.

Applying the Principles!
This class meets at Civic Theatre and is for the advanced young artists who wish to further hone the skills that will lead them to high school and beyond. Students will delve more deeply into script analysis and character development, and come away with a better understanding of the craft involved. The longer class time allows for individual attention to voice and movement technique and more overall rehearsal time. The final presentation of this class will take place on Civic's mainstage. This class meets for two hours, once a week for 8 weeks.
