Discover the world of musical theatre!
Thus EXCITING Jr. Civic day-camp will immerse students in a high-energy, intensive all-day learning experience consisting of instruction in acting, singing and dancing. By focusing on process and technique-based coaching by local and New York-based professionals, students will experience the collaborative nature of theatre at its most thrilling. A culminating production of the material worked on will be presented on Civic's mainstage for family and friends.

It's Story Time!
This special 4-day, two and a half hour day-camp provides our small friends a chance to explore excellent children's literature and enjoy sharing a picnic lunch together at the same time. Employing music, art and theatrical activities prepared just for them, campers are encouraged to bring in props and costumes to help them create their very own stories. Young players bring a sack lunch each day for our storybook picnic and family and friends are invited to attend our last class to get a taste of our stories!

Observe, Create, Perform!
Developed in partnership with the Indianapolis Museum of Art, this dynamic one-week summer day-camp combines the beauty and vitality of the visual arts with the adventure and excitement of the performing arts. Employing a common theme, students learn to recognize and appreciate the obvious and not-so-obvious relationships between the two art forms. The week ends with a special presentation for family and friends.

Play Pass

Take a class, enjoy a play!

All students enrolling in any Jr. Civic class will receive one PLAY PASS that can be exchanged for one ticket to any Civic Theatre Mainstage show* and one free concession item. Passes will be distributed on the final day of class and are eligible for use immediately. Simply call the Box Office to reserve your ticket(s) and mention that you have a PLAY PASS. Then bring your pass with you to the theatre and exchange it at the Box Office for your reserved ticket. Students must reserve their ticket in advance by calling the Box Office at 317-923-4597.
