THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 2008

Mark your calendars now for Indianapolis Civic Theatre’s popular Ed Sullivan-style fundraiser A REALLY BIG SHOOOW, III presented on Thursday, June 5, 2008. Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner and rub elbows with favorite celebrity performers of the 1940s, 50s and 60s after the show.

Directed by Artistic Director Robert J. Sorbera, the 7pm performance of A REALLY BIG SHOOOW, III features impersonations of many adored performers as they once appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, as well as hilarious “live” commercial breaks and comic interludes. Jimmy Dorsey, The Smothers Brothers, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, James Taylor, The Supremes, Jackie Gleason and many more stars of the past, portrayed by notable community leaders and Civic actors, will take the stage in an exhilarating recreation of television’s golden era.

Proceeds from the fundraising event will support Civic’s Education and Outreach programs. Tickets for A REALLY BIG SHOOOW, III, which are partially tax-deductible, range from $150 for individuals to $5,000 for fundraiser sponsorships. Reservations can be made by mail or fax with the printable RSVP Card or by phone at 317-923-4597. Individual tickets and group sponsor tickets are also available online. For additional information, contact Catherine Dixon at 317-924-6770 x206.
