As part of our dedication to theatre education and appreciation, Indianapolis Civic Theatre offers daytime tours for school groups. Students, age 4 and up, are invited to attend an exciting 1-hour field-trip designed to introduce the young people of our community to the magical world of a working theatre. Activities include purchasing a ticket at the box office, finding the corresponding seat in the theatre and discovering how a live stage production is put together. A sound and light demonstration, a visit to the stage and a backstage tour of the theatre are included and students will leave with a souvenir workbook that recounts their visit.
