When a wife becomes suspicious of her husband, she and her conniving best friend hatch a plan that upsets their world and everyone in their path. Raymonde’s husband Victor-Emmanuel has lost his desire for her and she is convinced it is because he is having an affair. She coaxes her best friend Lucienne to try to trap Victor-Emmanuel by writing a letter inviting him to meet her at a local hotel for a night of passion. When Lucienne’s husband Carlos sees the letter, however, he recognizes her handwriting and believes his wife is the one having an affair. Things really heat up when everyone shows up at the hotel for a wild night of mistaken identities, slamming doors and unbridled passions in this rollicking French farce by Georges Feydeau.
